SPIN


60 MINS FAT & CALORIE BURNING

The workout that’s perfect for everyone – from beginners to experienced cyclists, this workout even has a place for those that have injuries and are looking to get back to fitness.  Everyone can participate in this class, where you control the intensity that you work with on your own bike.  The instructor will set a course with upbeat music and drills (and a lot of encouragement) that will allow you to do more on a bike than you ever thought possible.  From hills, to sprints, to cycling at set pace through to intervals and tabata style tracks, this class is a must to give your cardiovascular system a great workout.  Remember to bring a towel and some drinking water and be prepared to sweat a bit in this great class.

Is Yoga for me?

Absolutely! Yoga is for anyone who is willing to learn its ways and ideas. It does not actually require any special equipment or clothing. What it requires is your will to have a healthier, stress-free self. Yoga does help in improving your health and calming your mind but it also burns calories and tones muscles.  A total body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing, meditation and relaxation.

Based on the training concepts boxers use to get fit! Shadow boxing, skipping, pad work and shuttle runs are just a few elements you will encounter in this class. As this class is no contact the only knockout you will score if a big improvement to your physique.

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean and toned. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories.

KETTLEBELLS

Kettlebell training is a style of workout. You will learn explosive swinging movements utilising the whole body along with momentum and more traditional press and squat exercises. The swinging of the weight from the hand requires that the stabilising muscles engage more with each movement and therefore requiring lots of muscles firing at once. Total body workout.

IRONMAN

This is the ultimate fitness challenge – spinning, weights and HIIT cardio all rolled into one.   This is a great class as it challenges your body in lots of different ways and just as you get used to one thing, it’s all change again.   A great CV workout as well as strength and endurance, this is an all over body workout that will leave you feeling challenged to the core.   Inspirational music and a lot of motivation re included in the hour.

AMRAP


60 MINS STRENGTH & CARDIO

AMRAP stands for “As Many Rounds As Possible” – and that’s exactly what this class is about.  Repeat a small group of exercises as many times as you can in the given time.   Exercises will be varied and focus on a whole body approach plus having the added advantage that as you move through the exercises quickly your CV system will be challenged and you will burn calories and sweat.  A great class if you like to follow simple raining principles.

THE SHREDDER

Hugely popular.. this class is a great overall body workout.. a total mix up of toning stations incorporating equipment and body weight with an added fat burning cardio element! This is an excellent class for mixed abilities .. all you need is a ‘can do’ attitude.

HIIT STEP


30 MINS FAT & CALORIE BURNING

If you are looking for a quick blast and a great intensity this is the class for you.  Half an hour of high intensity interval training with all your old favourites from squats, lunges, burpees, mountain climbers, press ups, toe taps, step jumps and a lot more. No co-ordination needed just a lot of enthusiasm.

Old School Circuit

Bootcamp


60 MINS CARDIO
£6 / session

Our outdoor class – Bootcamp is a great way to exercise in the great outdoors.  From April to October this class runs on the pitches and is a great back to basics class, including a number of drills and with the space that you don’t have indoors.  Add in our outdoor types, battle ropes and bats and you’ve got a whole new range of functional exercises which are a lot of fun as well as a great workout.  Also includes a lot of old favourites and absolutely no coordination required.   Suitable for all.  (Note in the winter months we run an indoor version of this at the same times.)
